Dear Parents/Carers

School reports

Our year 8-11 pupils have completed their end of year exams; reports will be sent out in due course.

Staff development day

We have one remaining staff development day still to be allocated this year and this will now take place on Monday 30^th June.  Pupils will not attend school on this day. 

P6 days

We are looking forward to welcoming P6 pupils into school on Wednesday 18^th and Thursday 19^th June where they will sample some of the activities and subjects we have to offer at City of Armagh High School.

To facilitate these days, some year groups will be working from home.

Wednesday 18^th June – Years 8, 10 and all LSC/ASC in school, Years 9 & 11 working from home.

Thursday 19^th June – Years 9 & 11 in school, Years 8, 10 and all LSC/ASC working from home.

Art Exhibition

Our Year 12 pupils are celebrating all of their hard work with an art exhibition in Armagh County Museum running from Monday 16^th to Friday 27^th June.  Parents, pupils, families and members of the public are welcome to attend on any day.  The official opening of the exhibition will take place on Monday 16^th June at 4.00pm.

Pre-Loved Uniform

We are running our second-hand uniform shop, to support parents with ever increasing costs.

We are encouraging you to donate any old uniform that you may have which your child is outgrowing (this includes items of day-to-day uniform but also PE kit.)

We ask that your child bring any donations to school in a carrier bag that can then be dropped off in reception. The uniform will remain in this centralised storage unit until the new year where it will be available for children who require it. All uniform will be washed before being issued for reuse.

Emerald Park School Trip

We have our annual trip to Emerald park taking place on Thursday 27^th June.  Pupils’ attendance on the trip will be dependent on behaviour in the run up to the trip.  Payment and return of the permission slip does not guarantee a place on the trip.

Dates for the diary:

• Wednesday 18^th and Tuesday 19^th June – P6 days (see above for details)
• Tuesday 24^th June - Year 12 BBQ 1.30pm
• Tuesday 24^th June – New year 8 pupils and family welcome evening (BBQ & games)
• Thursday 27^th June – Emerald Park school trip
• Friday 27^th June – End of term (school will close at 12.30pm)
