Thank you for showing an interest in our school and taking the time to view our website. Although it gives a very small glimpse of what happens at City of Armagh High School, you will be very welcome at any time to visit and discuss education at our school with either the teaching staff or myself.
City of Armagh High School lives by the motto, ‘Excellence, Opportunity and Care’. We value the whole pupil throughout their school experience. All pupils are encouraged to strive for excellence and seize every opportunity to develop physically, socially and emotionally in a caring environment. Every child matters and, through partnership with home, we seek to ensure that the school experience will make a significant difference to our students’ future.
Located within walking distance of the city centre, City of Armagh High School delivers the national curriculum at Key Stage 3 level and has a broad selection of subjects at Key Stage 4. One of the benefits of studying at City of Armagh High School is its close proximity to the Southern Regional College where Key Stage 4 pupils can attend courses in Occupational Studies.
Extra-curricular activities should be an integral part of any school and we are no exception. We offer a wide variety of sports teams to all pupils, School Choir, Drama productions, Scripture Union and Duke of Edinburgh Award to name but a few.
City of Armagh High School is at an exciting point in its development as a key stakeholder for educating young people in Armagh City.
I really hope you will take time to visit the school and see what we have to offer.
I look forward to meeting you in the future.
Mr David Livingstone
